Bar Soba, Mitchell Lane, Glasgow – 18th April 2008

Update July 2010

The deal is the same price however there are £1 supplements for Mixed tempura and the squid starters as well as others now.  Still a good deal!

Tom Kah Kai Soup spicy chicken and coconut broth with rice noodles, mint & beansprouts
Malaysian Laksa spicy coconut broth flavoured with turmeric, fresh chilli, coriander & served
with egg noodles

Mixed Tempura a combination of chicken, vegetable & king prawn tempura. served with a
sweet chilli dip
Thai Green Chicken Curry chicken pieces, with butternut squash, cherry tomatoes in a
lemongrass coconut curry served with thai rice

glass of wine each for £17.95 for two.

Fresh food, great taste, good atmosphere only drawback are loud diners who insist on sharing every detail of their life with you via loud chat. Staff can be a bit surly and full of themselves forgetting that they are here to serve but the food brings people back.

Where is it:- bar soba

Cool hangout joint in the city centre. The cocktails are fab and and the food is not bad either. Very good pre-club hangout as closes at 12pm 😦
